White nights are a moment.
The 1st in-store activation developed by Pepsi Romania during winter was an unexpected success. The season with the biggest sells gaps for the industry was a great one for PepsiCo in 2016.
By activating only 5 retailers (Mega Image, Carrefour, Auchan, Cora, Artima) with 270 POSM’s & other visibility materials designed and executed by g7, PepsiCo almost reached the same volume of sales the company usually register in the top season.
Apart from the chosen period, what did we make special? We created special areas with tribunes, Wii console and 2 snowboards where consumers came to play and “taste” the winter experience PepsiCo prepared for them as big prizes.
Regular Pepsi 0.33l, apps 2x250ml Pepsi, headset + scarf set, winter audio headphones, 4-ball set, voucher for winter equipment, 2-person trip to Iceland, 4-person trip to Austria.
The overall results
95,260 people approached, 68,794 products sold and 40,096 prizes offered.
Activating in 133 locations with a total of 9526 hours, PepsiCo sold 17 products / hour in the most performant IKA.
